Hydro Pole Knee Brace

Steel pole support for excavating next to a hydro pole. The HSS 8 x 4 x 3/8 mast straps to the pole with two 3/8 x 4 flat bar straps and stands on a 2 in pivot pin at the end of a 128-1/2 in HSS 8 x 4 x 3/8 bottom brace. An HSS 4 x 4 diagonal ties the mast back to the bottom brace; an HSS 3 x 3 sliding arm inside it, with five adjusting holes, sets its length. The far end carries a 96 x 67 in counterweight frame of HSS 6 x 6 x 3/8 with angle keepers to hold concrete blocks, and fork pockets to move it. About 17-1/2 ft long, 9 ft tall and 1,700 lb of steel. Built in our shop by CWB-qualified welders, primed and painted grey. Counterweight blocks are not included.
