What is on this page

These are things the shop has already designed and already built — drawn once, proven on the floor, and worth offering again rather than re-drawing for every customer who asks for the same thing. They are fabricated at 42 Wilstead Dr in Newmarket, Ontario, out of the same building as our custom work, on the same machines and by the same welders.

Three ways to take one

The design package is the drawings and the cut list — what you need to build it yourself, or to hand to a shop closer to you. You own the copy you buy.

The kit is the same design with the steel cut and prepared here, shipped or picked up ready to assemble. It suits somebody who welds but does not want to spend a day at a saw.

Fully welded is the finished piece, built and inspected in the shop and delivered on our own truck across York Region and the Greater Toronto Area, or picked up in Newmarket.

Material, finish and getting it to you

Unless a product page says otherwise, these are mild steel, cut on the CNC plasma or the fiber laser and welded in the shop. Stainless and aluminum are ordinary work here too, so a version in either is a question worth asking rather than a no.

Pickup is at the shop during shop hours. Truck delivery carries a $100 minimum on the goods, before tax and before the delivery charge itself; under that it is pickup or a courier. What is on the floor moves the same day, and anything that has to be ordered in follows the same short lead time as the rest of the rack.

If it is close but not right

Most of these started as a custom job for one customer, so changing a dimension, a material or a mounting detail is ordinary work rather than a special request. Say what is different and it is quoted as a variant of something already drawn, which is faster and cheaper than starting from a blank page.

If nothing here is close, that is what the rest of the shop is for: structural and miscellaneous steel, stainless and aluminum, cut on the CNC plasma and the fiber laser, welded MIG, TIG and stick, installed by our own crews.
