MIG (GMAW)

Shop & Field Welding

Most of our welding takes place in our fully equipped Newmarket shop, where we have the fixtures, positioners, and environment to produce consistent, high-quality welds. For projects that cannot be moved, we offer field welding services across York Region.

Shop Welding

Our shop is set up for production welding, repair work, and custom fabrication. CWB-certified environment with proper ventilation, fixturing, and inspection capabilities. We handle everything from thin-wall stainless tubing to heavy structural plate.

Field Welding & Repairs

Equipment breakdowns and on-site repairs do not wait for shop hours. We provide field welding for maintenance, repair, and installation work. Common field work includes equipment repairs, structural modifications, handrail installations, and emergency breakdown service.

CWB Certification

Steady Steel is certified by the Canadian Welding Bureau under CSA W47.1 (steel welding) and CSA W47.2 Division 2 (aluminum welding). This certification means every weld meets national standards for structural and non-structural applications.

We maintain active CWB qualifications, weld procedure specifications (WPS), and provide documentation on request for inspected and code-compliant work.
